Lamberts Yard - Networking

Lamberts Yard 

For part of the context of practice module I needed to have a practical to go along side my written element,as I am writing my dissertation about branding I needed to either find an existing brand to re-brand or a new company to brand. I spoke to Paul from the fashion department and he advised me on speaking to Adam from Lamberts Yard as the concept store are interested in working with students from Leeds College of Art.

I decided to go to the store in Leeds to speak to Adam. Unfortunately Adam wasn't available but i spoke to Rosie who also works there and she was really helpful. She told me to email her and she would try and help finding me an appropriate brief for my dissertation.

I contacted Rosie at Lambert's Yard:

 She replied asking me to attend a fashion event on the 18th of December.

 Unfortunately i was unable to attend the event, Rosie asked me to produce an A5 document she would get printed and would hand out to young fashion designers who were wanting branding doing for there start up companies or simply wanting a rebrand.

Although i am disappointed i can't attend the event as I'm not in Leeds i am really pleased that i have been given the opportunity to pass my details on to fashion designers.
