PROGRESS CRIT 1 Speaking from experience

PROGRESS CRIT SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE -

We had a progress crit with simon two third years and some of our peers, we presented our boards to the group talking about our concept production and method of delivery..

OUR FEEDBACK WE RECEIVED-

We recieved some useful feedback to help guide us in the right direction

Positives

• Great idea
• Good personal concept 
• Digital / social networking - getting n touch with the audiemce
• Good colour use
• Manifesto
• Good tone of voice

Considerations

• Is there going to be different quotes for each topic?
• How will you perforate it?
• Where will you get the dont's from?
• How many dont's will there be?
• Consitina might not be most approporiate, maybe something that would be a constant reminder
• Experiment with sizing and shape of concertina?
• Strong use of materials - print and use of digital
• Show experimentation with colour as development - even if they aren't used eventually.
• Tone of voice
• Extend with blog /podcast / website
• Quantity of work.
• Tone of voice could become a problem with trivial advice

What we realised - We realised that our idea was good but we needed  to create a few more concepts to develop  our idea further and have a bigger work load because there is two people in our group. We need to focus on the tone of voice and make sure we definitely know what were saying to inspire and motivate the new first years.

What we will do to change this - We have decided to add the following to add more concept to our speaking from experience brief. 

• Manifesto blog , featuring our experience other peoples experience & Manifestos.
• our 3 Concertina leaflets
• Belly bands
• Possible T-shirt and badges
• Instagram and e book. 
• Playlist

From this we've decided to do a - Motivational pack

Which will contain 3 concertina posters, screen printed top, badges, cd.

I felt the crit was really helpful and without it we would of been doing very little compared to what we have no decided, Its important to come up with enough ideas and work to contribute even if your working by your self & not in a pair. This crit has given me a lot of ideas and things to considerate I'm really pleased with our new idea and me and jnae have come up with a brain storm/list of jobs we will execute ourself and bring together.
