Today i went to Fressco indpendent clothing shop in the corn exchange to get some primary research when i was in there i was approached by a girl called Kirsty who was sisters with the shop owner. She asked me if i would be interested a collaboration with her on some album artwork. She is a student from leeds college of music.
Kirstys music is electronic and ambient and she's looking to have album artwork updated. Jamie Pudsey and i recently worked on some album artwork and i feel it would be a perfect brief for the two of us.
Since meeting Kirsty i have began talking to her through facebook chat and we have arranged a meeting. I am really pleased that i was lucky enough to have someone approach me and I'm really excited about the outcome. I think its very beneficial to work with people outside of leeds college of art and to make that connection.
